Is anybody here riding like last year's Head Mad Trix system, with the reversible plate binding deally bobber? Is it just me or is this ski incredibly heavy...it's my first pair of Heads...the new Mojo's aren't that heavy, are they?

Not only are they incredibly heavy, but they create a fuckin huge dead spot on the ski. One of the worst executed ideas in skiing ever, up there with the reactor binding.

what i did with my skis is after they had installed the bindings, i didnt worry about the bottom holes becasue they were under my boot(i just put a little shop sticker over them), but for my top holes which were visible above my bindings, i put an ns sticker on each set of holes and now there cover and the skis look fine.

I mean in theory and the concept is bad ass, its just that I don't really use it...hey ^ how did you got about taking that plate off? Do it yourself, or did a shop do it?

the snakeskin topsheet looks/feels pretty bombproof. its just a criss-crossing of like plastic shit, but looks like it with work well.

i have the new m trix and the topsheet is really strong, my friends always whack them with poles and it does nothing, anyway, the system is stupid, mount them for all mountain 1 inch forward from the line

they don't seem heavy to me, i was a bit tentative in buying them at first because of the 'heavy' rumours but they don't seem bad at all
