Ski for 09/10, park and pow

im 5'1 and 100 lbs, i have armada ARV's in 165, but i want something wider that i can use in park and in pow.

im thinking Line lizzies, Armada JJ's, Moment Night Trains, or Line SFB's

of those which should i get? i ski more park than pow, so im wondering if JJ's will not work well for park/grooms.

You may be a bit on the small side for them, but I got a pair of the 176 Liberty Helix and they absolutely KILL it in the park. They're super light and poppy, balanced in the air, and are surprisingly fun on rails. And they're excellent in pow and crud. I haven't ridden any of the other skis that you mentioned, but I'm not sure if JJs would be very fun in the park, could be wrong, though.

if you ski more park then pow then why don't you go with a not as fat ski. Maybe something such as anthem, hazmat, msp.

Or the 170 Night Trains. Ced T-F said he loves riding them in park.

if hes 5'1 than 165s are too big 176s r way too big for a 5'1 kid.

165s arent too big for me, if anything their small! and i have a park ski for spring days  but i want a ski that i can have fun with that will own it in pow, JJ's sound fun, Lizzies sound really good all around, and Night Trains sound like they will work really will for everything being fat, but then the 170 sfbs will be sick too.

SFB's only come is 182. So if you're 5'1" you should probably count those out.

kind of a thread steal but how light are lizzies in terms of being able to spin on and off of rails and spinning on jumps and just lightness in general?

anybody who skis them in the park wanna give me like a scale of 1-10 on how well they jump and rail?

SFB and Lizzies for next year, the sfb's sound like a lot of fun, but lizzies seem like they might be better for me. Im just afraid of SFB's having bad swing weight or that they might not preform well in park.

haha just kidding but yea lizzies or night trains sound almost perfect. I'm sure it will change a lot during summer though. I've changed my mind on what ski I want already a lot of times. good luck though, hope you find what you you want

ive already gone big, and i didnt go home. bitch. but my 165s are already  taller then me so 179's are like monsters. but yeah thanks man.

Maybe next years Kung Fujas?

They have some nice rocker and you can get them with the Marker schizo binding (you can change your stance on the ski.. so more centre for park and more back for freeride.. ) 95mm waist I believe.. I've ridden this years kung fujas and I liked it really well..

i dont want an all mountain ski, like my ARV's anthems or kung fujas's. i think JJ's would be nice too, im thinking lizzies sfbs or jj's and not NTs because night trains have a ton on rocker in front and not much in back so it might not be good for skiing switch.

i have some jj's and i would not bring them to the park.  i love my jj's and i wouldn't take them on any rails.  There way to heavy to 270 on rails but thats just what i think.  There good for shreaden pow and killen cliffs.  I havn't really took them off any big kicker into pow yet but from what othere people can do on them i know there good

i guess i would recomend the surface live life.  i see this guy like killen it on them all the time

everybody is seeming to say lizzies, and so ive heard good and bad stuff about JJ's, ive heard they suck dick on rails, so i think its between SFB's and Lizzies.

At your weight, and because they are softer, I think you would have a lot more fun on Lizzies. they'd be easy to butter around and just an all around fun ski. And I think If you got the SFB the only thing you'd be gaining is a little more float (which at your weight you won't need) and a slightly better charging ski.
