hey buddy i was replying to the kid who replied first in this thread
you fat chode
I completely agree with you and I see where you are coming from. I have some friends who had the issues that you addressed and they were pretty disappointed. Luckily, they were able to get new skis. I just recently bought the Suspects (ohh, about a month and a half ago) and I love them. I am not having any issues at all. Sure, hitting rails will take a lot out of any ski but my edges are still in great shape and the bottoms of my skis look pretty darn nice as well. Salomon is definitely great in that they are the masterminds behind twin tips. Like anything new, there are always flaws that can be improved upon. You mentioned ipods and I am going to mention cars. I am a pretty big car person and when the Volvo XC90 T6 came out, there were quite a few transmission problems. They have improved this over time and the XC90 is a great vehicle now (to me anyways). So I think the upcoming season’s line up is going to be pretty darn snazzy in the durability department and certainly hard to compete with. Thanks for posting.
I guess volvo warranty their transmissions!?
salomon don't warranty their skis
here is a convo i had with the salomon rep
me-this years suspects were shit, ive seen so many pairs fall apart after a week and you guys have refused to warranty them
rep-thats not true, our skis are the strongest on the market and we have the best warranty out there
me-well has anything changed in next years skis?
rep-nope exact same just graphichs
Hmm...didn't know about the customer thing...Mine are holding up pretty well but if Salomon is not fair, I don't want to invest in another pair for next season.
