Now before we go any further, i am going to say that i dont blindly believe everything in this movie, i am looking into all the claims it makes and whatnot. i am posting it simply to get it out there and let people think about it for themselves.
also, i do realize the movie is made like a retarded propaganda tool and is rather hypocritical in that sense, but i think the main message it is trying to get across is valid and shouldnt be ignored.

Also, before you watch it, the first half hour or so is pretty stupid and they do interview complete randoms who arent credible, but really the interviews are just peoples opinions and aren't integral to the plot.

def. not the same. much worse. we are seeing our freedoms getting taken away and founding principles of our country destroyed. It scares the shit out of me when the secretary of the treasury (who isn't qualified in the first place), says they are going to redefine capitalism and change what it is to america. Capitalism is just capitalism. you change it and you are getting into socialism.



oh and obama's dealing with Gordon Brown, the prime minister of Great britain are REALLY good for the country....not.

its amazing that people still think that the president isnt just a puppet. you dont have to be a crazy tin-foil-hat-wearing nutcase to look at the facts. All that has been happening in the US for years is people getting their freedom taken away, and more and more fearmongering.

Obama has already used the economy, saying things like "endless recession" and "worse then the great depression" when he wanted those bills to be passed. Now the other day he said things are "not as bad as they seem or we might think." ?!?!?! what?
The goal of the Obama administration is to vastly expand the size and scope of government so that the american people become dependent on its services. This economic recession is just the excuse they need to implement their polices. The Administration has said it themselves they are taking advantage of the situation. "You can't waste a good crisis" or something along those lines.

i was really tired when i posted that and forgot some minor details that make the world go round...  he had asked him to get out of his face about 4 times before the punching happened...  plus there was a base wide thing where the base commander said essentially that this is the one election that so many people felt strongly about so for the first week or so be careful what you say about each candidate.

i dont think anybody was expecting him to change the world in 50 days, but its the things he has done that are the problem. hes just making things worse. people's freedoms are still getting taken away. hes doing the opposite of everything he said he was going to do.

i understand he isnt a fucking magician...  if he was we wouldnt be having this discussion.  what i hate is the fact that he makes the stimulus bill and shoves it down our fucking throats.

i hope he does well, cause, if he fails, the our country is royally fucked for the next 4 years.  but, with the way things are going right now with this stimulus bill that has everything he said he wouldnt put in it, in it...  and his dealings with the english prime minister, things arent looking good.

lol, Obama has been in office for something like 52 days. He has made already made 52 terrible mistakes, probably more (http://http://blogs.dailymail.com/donsurber/2009/03/12/52-days-52-mistakes/). That's one mistake for each day our President-in-Training has been in office. He is in wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over his head. I knew it would be so from the get go.

"He is a great speaker"- HAHAHAHHAHAH BULLLLLLSHIT. He is an OK speaker when he has a teleprompter, when he doesn't, he bumbles and babbles and "uhhhhhhhhs" and "ahhhhhhhhs" and "ummmmmmmmmms" his way through his talks like a retread.

Do you all know what he gave as a gift to Brit PM Gordon Brown? The Prime Minister gave Obama an ornamental penholder hand-carved from the timbers of a Victorian anti-slave ship once called the HMS President. The sentimental and symbolic value there is incredible and it is a piece of history that Obama, being black (er, half black) can relate to. Guess what D'OH!bama gave him in return. A FUCKING 25 DVD SET and toy helicopters for the PM's children. I am fucking embarassed at how cheap he is. The brits are pissed off and the media overseas is slamming Obama for this. He also sent back a bust of Winston Churchill the Brits gave to Bush after 9/11. They never asked for it back, and on his first day, Obama looked at it and said, "get that out of my sight." WHAT A FUCKING DEUSCH.

^ haha I've spent the last 4 months worried about what this fuck was gonna do to the country. I knew he would attempt to totally strip us of our american rights. I'm using the gift story as a way to piss off the people who have no clue about the real issues. We need a strong, united front against this JOKE of a president.

The worst part of all of this is my generation willl be the ones trying to pay back the chinese for this outrageously expensive stimulus bill. "Spreading the money around" usually doesn't work. Hoover tried it on a much smaller scale, and look where that got him...

I agree that the stimulus is a bad idea, but regardless of who won the election in the fall, the stimulus was going to happen anyways. Big business knows how to get itself the money by gov't means.

We'd be in the exact same situation regardless of who was elected. However, if McCain was elected people would be out in the streets rioting about this bullsh*t, rather than sitting at home thinking everythings going to work out fine.

I AGREE!!! Sure Obama might not be doing an ammazing job, but you cant really expect him to. He isn't a savior or anything, he just a normal guy with some good ideas. I like Obama, but I honestly don't think that he will lead to tons of "change" or anything. I think hes going to try to fix the economy, and try to fix the stupid bank issues that fucked the economy up. If we just dump all of our problems on Obama, we are most deffinately screwed but if we work on fixing some of our problems as a whole, I think that his ideas will work and the country will be able to recover. That being said, he has already done a bunch of stuff, you can go type it into google if you really want to.

And to the person who was talking about vacation days, did you know that Bush spent 27% of his days in office on vacation? That's like... way more than Obama has taken.

FDR's New Deals did NOT stabilize the economy. World War II did. FDR set up all these programs and created a huge deficit, really not helping anyone in the long run. WWII saved our economy.

non relevant to the movie. but i was recently doing some research on obama and his admin, one really scary thing they are working on right now is shutting down conservative talk radio. Now, me being a conservative, i disagree much with a lot of liberals, but i like to hear there opinion. This shows us how radical are president is to destroy anything thats not in favor of him. for example, in his latest package he gave 6 billion to acorn, i far left organization.

I dont think mccain was the right choice by any-means, but Obama wants to change alot of this countrys founding elements.

like, i know that congress makes a lot of the decisions in what actually happens, but obama still makes many decisions.  and many of his current decisions are worrying me.

whether you watched the video or not (i watched parts of it), you are an idiot if in this day and age, you still think that the president makes all his ideas and decisions by himself. the president is a tool to link the real big guys of the federal government (backed by corporations) to the people, and Obama is the perfect candidate for that. no matter what he (the government) decides to do (to an extent), no one will stand up against him, because everyone loves him so much (more or less). Obama is the saleman to deliver the changes to the United States which we would reject from less liked presidents, lets say John McCain. If you really pay attention to all of his speeches and announcements, he actually does contradict SO many of his own points, but nobody picks up on them because they are so fascinated by his appealing image, personality, and charisma. this is exactly what happened when Hitler came to power, not saying that Obama will become Hitler, but you can't rule tyranny out of the equation. Hitler was at first loved by Germans as much as Americans love Obama today. Its just hard for us to see it like that, since we, as modern day people, know Hitler as the most dispicable being that walked the earth.

god dammit i participated in another Obama debate...

what part of, "he had stabilized the economy by 1939" did you not understand. also, to put things further in perspective, in 1937 Roosevelt thought the economy had balanced out for the most part. in return, he actually balanced the budget that year, the economy dropped again. granted, as in ANY case, that was not the sole reason, but sitting by and watching the world collapse is not my idea of how to fix the shithole were in right now.
