New ipod shuffle

looks sweet, but do you have to use their headphones, or is there an adapter to use your own? that would be so stupid if you could only use their shit earbuds

X10 apple headphone suck, i dont wanna use one.

Infact i prefer my old shuffle anyway, its quicker to use and i can use whatever buds i like.

Seems like a step backwards except for the increased song capacity. The voice system and the controls on the headphones are both pointless.

having an adapter to plug anything into it is still stupid. it should come with one so you can use any headphones

i know theres an adaptor, i read the previous posts... the way i use my shuffle in my car is i wrap my cable around my rearview mirror and then plug it so its hanging under the mirror. That way its facing me in midair and the controls are mad esay to work. With the adaptor, I'm doubting that switching through the songs will be as simple while driving

meh, im not a huge fan. i think they should have stuck with something similar to the previous gen. meh, apple will advertise it well and make it a must-have either way..

this design actually looks really dumb. Double clicking to do the most used task? (changing songs). Imagine how long it will take to scroll through songs.

The point of an iPod Shuffle is that you put all your favorite songs on it so you don't have to scroll through all the songs.

Ya but this thing holds 1,000 songs so you could do a lot of changing to get a song u like. Basically last gen shuffle was sick and this one is pretty bad

It seems like mac likes to take good ideas and fuck them up, I really liked my 3rd gen click wheel ipod, felt nice and you didn't have to have the backlight on to see what was on the screen. Also the new macbook pros are super lame, not a fan of the keyboard at all, or the mousepad,
