Ski length affects what you can do on rails?

Does a longer ski mean less maneuverability on rails? (270s, switch-ups, 450s)

Obviously the longer your ski is, the harder it's gonna be to spin on them. As long as they're reasonable though, you should be able to do everything you normally would with enough practice.

Ok, if anyone could give me some opinions it would be nice.  It seems I keep second guessing myself about my ski size.  Its either 171 or 178 invader.  I will be like 5'10 or maybe but probably not 6' next season.  My only concern with gettin 178 is that I will not be able to do 270s out and switch-ups (which I have not yet learned) as easy as on the 171s and I only hit jumps like up to 30 feet.  Do i go 178 or 171?

am in the sam situation. i have 270s out but not switch ups and im just getting the 171s and the skis will only last me a season so if they are too small get new ones next year

it might be harder.
but just get used to it.
3 cm on each tip is not very much.

go with the 178. I'm 5'8" and ski 180's and I have no problems doing 270's or sw ups

I just think you sacrifice a lot of performance elsewhere for what will probly be unoticable difference in swing weight.  skis at true center feel super short as it is
