Music is a big part of my life. I'm not musical but I love listening to all sorts of music... For instance my Itunes has every genre I can think of... I'm just wondering what music you guys listen to? There are so many other threads on NS about music but i never see some of the Christian labeled music that I usually add to my playlists and pump through the Skullcandy's.

Some of my favorite's:
Thousand Foot Krutch, RED, Skillet, Anberlin, Disciple, KJ52, Fireflight, Flyleaf, Pillar...

Might be a good thread to hear about sweet new songs too. Lets hear it!

i listen to alot of hillsong albulms because i know alot of the bands from my time at the church,

hip-hop i liten to 4th avenue jones, Flame, and grits who did that my life be like song on the fast and furious , but they are pretty tight.

Rock its all abpout the blamed, dogwood and the 7 brothers.

i dont listen to a whole heap of christian music like maybe once a week or something.

i dont have to much christian music, just like skillit, relient k, switch foot, pillar, pod, some third day, and RED.... and underoath.....

O geez, i listen to a lot of heavier stuff so everything off of Solid State Records is fair game (oh sleeper, demon hunter, becoming the archetype, destroy the runner, haste the day) plus underoath and the devil wears prada are two of my favorite bands ever. Anberlin, dead poetic, inhale exhale, flyleaf, as I lay dying, and blessthefall are all good too.

When it comes to christian music... well... I don't enjoy most.  I'm a huge fan of Mute Math, Mewithoutyou, Jon Foreman, ummmm... I don't know.  Ha ha.  I love just about anything, but not a lot of really heavy stuff.

I was more into the really hard music during high school... not so much anymore, although I do play some every once in a while. I think I was just listening to it because that is what was on all the Motocross videos (was big into that... and now skiing is my new love).

You guys ever go to music festivals? Pretty good times checking out some new bands and rocking out to the ones you already enjoy...

I'm from ohio so our youth group hits up the Alive festival every year, pretty sick.

Coolest thing I saw though was going to see The Devil Wears Prada and Underoath in concert and they both take time out of their shows to talk about their faith, good stuff.

I just went to a RED concert which was above a bar in downtown Fargo, ND. It was a really small venue and they played an acoustic set which was pretty sick. The coolest thing was that even though it was at a bar and playing to a secular crowd and with secular opening bands, they still took the time to tell people about Jesus. After the show I gave them a pound and thanked them... the band members are super chill guys too.

Also for those of you who go back a ways... Newsboys' Peter Furler (was the drummer turned lead singer) just left the group and the new singer is Michael Tait.... The black guy from dc talk.

Skillet, POD, Grits (rap) Pillar, the fold, the fray ( im prettty sure there christian just dont rly sing about it) and third day....theres more but i cant think of any now
