1) get footbeds
2) don't land backseat
3) just because someone works in a shop does not mean they are a professional bootfitter
4) boots should not feel awesome in the store
toe bang does not mean your boots are to big. i had spks that git perfect with footbeds, and i still also got toe bang. not landing backseat will help, but most times thats not that easy to correct, even as it sounds. ha.
trim toe nails short, and try to land perfect is all you can do, unless you get new boots, full tilt...
Any boot I've had for the past like 3 seasons always make me feet go numb and my legs hurt. anyone know what thats about?
I've tried a couple different pairs of nordica boots, technica, and head boots. i usually just ski with regular socks. it's annoying as fuck though.
Try getting footbeds, it could be the way your foot sits in the boot isn't right and it's putting pressure on the wrong parts of your feet and damagin the nerves. Boots rae made so you have special contact points and when your feel pornate or turn out then this can be changed and can mean you get porblems iwth feet and legs.
To the thread creater you may also have boots to small, when I was doing ski-x trianing 60ft jumps in race boots a size too small I got major toe bang so muhc so I've half lost my nail it's gottne loose and my whole toe has gottne infected. You could need bigger boots, get them blown out or as they other have said it coul dbe your boots are too big.
Shouldve gottten Kaos, wirth the extra money. Also boots are alittle big, tighten your lower buckles
shin-bangStill, after going to a professional fitter with footbeds and other shell stretches and mods, I get toe bang if my front buckle is not clamped to the max. In return it freezes my feet, but alas no toe bang. The front buckle keeps your foot tight and prevents it from sliding/slamming into the toe of the boot.
BIGairVZI had a professional fitter size me up and it felt awesome in the store.
Rachybootfitter.chances are that if you were saying the 29.5 was good and you only had toe bang once or twice... you dont want to go bigger.
