yo i ski these places mostly mt holly,couple time at knob,and maybe two weekends at crystal mountain.

Nice ya i do mostly holly and crystal...do you have a season pass to holly?    i don't have a season pass to either one.  Crystal is selling season passes for next year right now for $209 so I might ski there alot next season.

I ski at crystal all the time and then boyne mountain when i can and then the ski bowl in GH inbetween those too. I heard that theres some dan arnold kid that skis at the bowl that sucks a loooott though

Yeah crystal is pretty nice.  I like the setup they have.  I want to try that urban style down flat down.

nah dude the prices for pine knob and crystal are ridiculous...they suck, the parks suck, only fun if your with a crew or friends

I live in West Michigan by G.R. so I ski Cannonsburg daily / Boyne Mountain on the weekend.

Nubs Nob is nice also.

I think Boyne Mountain and Nubs have the best of what the lower peninsula has to offer. And both have decent enough parks (Nubs has no kickers though)

I am about ready to buy my season passes for 08-09. $700 for Boyne....$300 for Cannonsburg.

Cburg has a surprisingly nice little setup.

When does Cburg open up by usually? I was thinking of even trying to get a job there or do ski patrol for the free pass.....
I heard its 8 hours a week you have to ski and out on the hills and you get a Cannonsburg pass

yeah i dont know about voluntary patrol.  couldnt tell you when it opens, usually as early as the conditions allow.

I will probably ski alpine valley and boyne also a few times next year. I just built a summer setup up north, so I will be practicing skiing this summer.

I've skied Mt. Holly, Pine Knob, Crystal, Boyne and Nubs in the last week and a half....Pine Knob's park blows the other 4 out of the water as far as jumps are concerned.  PK has a pretty decent 4 hit jump line that goes 30ft step-down, 35ft or 25ft step-up, 10ft table(small), 30ft step-down.  I don't hit rails but they have at LEAST 2 dozen rail features as well.  Boyne's park was by far the worst UNLESS you ski the SuperPipe.

For real pine knob has that many rails?  Holly has like 4 rails but the jumps are pretty decent.  I want to hit up Pine Knob now.  If not this year then alot next year.  Because I love rails just as much as jumps if not more.

Yeah Pine Knob does have at least two dozen rails but again I do not hit them so I am not sure if you would consider them good, great or shitty...

Is Mt Brighton any good?  Could you plz describe their park for me cuz I have a MI White Gold card and can ski free there.  Just not sure if its worth the drive!?!?!?

im 24 though, which is practically 65 in the ski world though. class of 2004. i dont ski at mulligans though, although i should. because i would waste a lot less time drivin up to crystal.

the park is very small 1 big jump and two smaller ones...otherwise there are a lot of boxes and maybe 3 or so rails. a ton of snowboarders there. i think it will close this weekend if it has not already. hope this helps.
