i am considering anthems..so i here they are awesome on rails and jumps..but how r they on really big jump...like im talkin 50 feet and bigger..and is it a good ski for the midwest??

They are really soft, which is never very fun on big jumps.  Get a real park ski that will perform well like a pair of Walls, Pipecleaners, TNKs, or AR6's.  If you ski only rails, "pow" that is 2 inches deep, and tiny jumps then yes you will love a soft ski with a 93 mm waist.  It just depends on what your are gonna do every day.

if your gonna be hitting bigger jumps most of the time you could go with the chronics. there stiffer for the bigger jumps and a little thinner underfoot (85mm) so they will still preform on rails really well.

That's what I did today on my Anthems, it was awesome.. they are way fun jibbing small shit and hitting rails, but on bigger jumps they aren't as good as some stiffer skis. These skis are super fun for just messing around and making everything a feature, but not so much in the bigger aspects of park like kickers and pipe..
