So i got a pair of the 06/07 185 cm armada arvs jacked earlier this and i loved them! super buttery, super softer, super good for park, super good for pow, dont care about carving ice that much, so i loved them... and now there gone. Preceded to get last years surface 183 cm watch life's for a super good price, and snapped em right in half. im 6'2" 185 lbs, super agrresive park skier, throwing a misty corked 5 type thing, under-rotated landed on my tips and totally snapped one in half... i have the 4front bindings on like din 11 and they ripped the foam and the top sheet right outta the ski, pretty epic. Now realizing I must make sure to never buy a foam core ski again (i didn't realize when i bought them,,, was attracted by the dank price: $200). Anywho, I got backcountry.com to refund me, which is awesome because surface wouldn't because they suck ballz. Now i am back to square one with a sick pair of 4frnt bindings ready to mount on some headie skis... any suggestions! Like i said, I really like how the 06/07 armada arvs skied. I also like really long skis as i favor huge booters to techie rails. I really like buttery skis, but I don't want them to break again (which obviously will always happen eventually). Basically, i want it all, haha.
Summary: 6'2", 185 lbs, aggresive park skier, favors long skis, loves fat skies, favors jumps to rails, but still favors buttery skis cause they are just more fun!
The 06/07 armada arvs were basically perfect... until they got jacked at the dew tour, bullshit! (they had 4frnt bindings too!)
I kinda like how this years 189cm kung fujas look for me, and at $340 on evo, its very tempting.
I don't really care too much for the newer ARV graphics, and hear that they are stiffer.
Any suggestions!
