I pity all of you guys in the midwest and east. Damn do I love California. However, it did rain a real small amount a week ago and rained real hard a week prior to Christmas. Other than that all precipitation has just been powder.
I just have to say that the last sunday was epic at alpine, one of the older guys was throwing cork 7s which is the biggest trick i have ever seen thrown at alpine and i learned 5s in the tow rope park, best day of the season by far.
but we don't have mountains. we got hills and shit. utah is actually warmer than michigan right now. salt lake city is like 55 degrees probably. but the mountains.....thats a different story....
my camp is on skaneateles lake in CNY, believed to be the 2nd cleanest lake water in the world. good to drink out of the lake, and provides fresh water to a lot of an average sized city (syracuse) that only requires a simple filter to remove sediments and fish poop and shiz
