Electric eg2 with helmet??????

Hey
Ive heard that you cant use the electric EG2 goggles with a helmet, because they are soo oversized.. Is this true?
My helmet is a sweet trooper btw...

Of course you can put that thing in a helmet, the question is what helmet. You have a Sweet Trooper, you say. I won't say that it does fit, since I haven't tried the combination yet, but why use those googles when you can get something that is like 50 times more durable like the Oakley Crowbars or the Dragon Rogue (not as good as the Oakley Googles, but still cooler and better imo, especially for Sweet Helmets).

If I would recoment some helmets for the Eg2 googles I would say: Giro Shiv or Poc Bug.

thanks, I have oakley wisdoms and dragon dx goggles right now. But I like the electric eg2 alot more! Ive tried them, but not with a helmet.

i wear mine with a skate helmet, it isn't that comfy. i usually wear my smiths if i'm wearing a helmet

i've seen people shave a bit around the top of the frame for them to fit w/helmets..

i've seen several people wearing them with a holt or a hifi helmet and have to say they fit perfect(tried hifi and eg2s myself). unfortunately i cannot find any pics at the moment.

yea they work with a helmet, my friend rocks a helmet with his almost everyday. and if they dont fit perfectly just throw in some dope horneck helment/goggle gap and get ignant

i enjoyed the way that this post was written!

the giro shiv helmet pretty much rules across the board.  customizable padding, and the best part is the lack of velcro on the inside should you decide to remove the padding n wear it with a beanie underneath...no more ruined hats from constant velcro attaching and removal.

bear in mind, however, that these helmets run large.  if you normally wear an xl, with a beanie underneath, like most of us seem to do because of the lack of helmet producers who understand that most of us enjoy a hat underneath, youd wear a large in the shiv.

i have a size 7 1/2 head via fitted hat sizing, and i wear a large comfortably with padding.  get into a shiv, theyre great! and while youre at it, giro goggles fit just great with em...the manifest is dope and the lens changing system will absolutely blow your mind, and there are a few coming out for next season that are lovely as well.  just an idea!

ok well thats a bunch of balogna. i have the electric eg2's (fucking amazing goggle get them if you can) with my bern watts. they fit perfectly. the ends dont hit the helmet or anything. you will have a bit of goggle sag unless you wear your helmet farther back than normal but it adds to the steezyness. tell me if you want a picture and ill post one....

they fit fine. the bern macon helmet is a really good choice i think there is like zero gap.

i had the baker and it didnt fit as good.

EG2s with an R.E.D. Mutiny II.  Fits just as well with the strap underneath, I don't find it as comfortable.

kinda off topic but would EG2's just look HUGE on anybody under 18? Like I have a decently large face but would they still be way to big?

hahaha under 18. age has nothing to do with it. big dome do it. anyways tucker perkins was rockin eg2,s with a poc receptor at the dew tour and it fit seamlessly.
