Dead so soon?

Just got off spring break, so relaxing after the hell that was the week before when I had 2 midterms and 25 page lab report. Hung out with my family and friends a bunch and had a blast, now i just need to survive another month and half of classes. And I need to find a co-op job, so thats stressin me out like crazy right now.

Ultimate stress weeks. I think I might have an ulcer after the last few weeks. The thing is I hate my job running my old man's internet business. I mean it has it's perks in that I have some freedoms but I deal with crabby customers all day long everyday because technology really makes people upset when they are "ignorant" and don't understand wireless technology leading them to blame the service provider. That wears on me. I also usually go out and climb our wireless towers and on customer homes for repairs, upgrades and installs but I destroyed my shoulder skiing in January and have had a difficult time using my arm period, (damaged nerves and torn rotator cuff). On Friday I was coming down a ladder off of a roof when I slipped a little and when I caught myself, the ladder took off and i went down re-dislocating the shoulder and crushing my hand. This made me late for my weekend job at the ski hill where I work as a park digger (days and nights full of raking, shoveling, lifting).

It would be so nice to just get out and shred and get away from all of the negativity and refresh my mind. However, the doc said no more skiing this year. All I want is to go skiing or fly south to do some  skimming or surfing but it hurts pretty bad when I make quick movements and the risk of further damage to the shoulder and slowing the recovery time might not be worth it.

i used to work for my dad but hated it majorly, let him know and tell him what you would rather be doing and he will hopefully support you.

my dad didnt and it sucked for a while but he came round after a few years and it sorted it self out.

ouch man, thats really unfortunate. I'm sure you'll make it out ok. But don't forget, that everyone needs a vacation now and then, even if it's just taking like a four day weekend and driving somewhere to relax.

Thanks bro. Yeah I have talked to him about it and he wants me to go do what my heart desires. I told him that before I started. The problem is I need actually get another job before leaving due to the economy and high unemployment. I also own a house which makes moving a little more difficult. I do spend some nights and the weekends working in the terrain park at my local hill. I absolutely love this but I can't pay my bills at that rate.

I need a vacation. I think I'm going to go hang in Florida with a buddy or see my bro in California.
