OK, I think we, as skiers who all have friends who snowboard, know of one very obvious disadvantage of skiing. The boots. Don't get me wrong, when they're strapped to a ski, the things are a comfort explosion (unless they're too tight, the you get shin splints), but the problem is hiking up 20 yards trying to get a trick on a box over and over again. has anyone ever heard, seen, or even own a pair of ski boots that can compare to the comfort of a snowboard boot? If not, then Full Tilt should use all the F-ING money they're getting from the gay ass "Get Full Tilt" NS shirts and come up with one!
by the nature of the hard shell they wont be super fun to hike in. i suggest you get a boot that fits you well to start off with. second, you need to relearn how to walk when in boots. kick out with your knees, and dont worrk about your ankle. swing your toe into the snow and keep going. thats all i can helo you with
