Replying to Remounting Scratches

So I have a pair of Scratch FS (the caution tape ones).  They are mounted at the "modern mounting point" with look px 12 ti's.  The modern mounting point is 6.5 cm off from center.  I was considering remounting my skis a cm or two back from center as these are my jibbing/messing around skis.

My dilemma, however, is that these skis are 174's and i'm 5'10".  They go just up to my hairline when i'm wearing sneakers.  I'm debating whether to just sell these and buy skis that are slightly longer so I don't compromise the stability of these skis or if I won't notice much at the new mounting point.

What should I do?
