girlfriend? i'm actually sitting in Starbucks, where she works, talking with her while she baristas, working on putting together a trip for us to Chicago in August to go to Lollapalooza, and trying to find out as much as i can about the upcoming NIN/JA/SS tour that will be stopping in Vegas in May (and browsing Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and Billboard for more tour info). after she's done working, judging by the things she keeps mouthing to me, we're probably going to go back to my place and tear my bed apart for a while. (btw, she's hotter than you... pics in my profile)
in the meantime, though, i'm having my mind blown that some girl from FL (that right there takes you back an additional thousand IQ points) seriously thinks visiting the south of England would be worth her while. fuck, even a kid FROM THERE agrees that you don't want anything to do with the area. you could go ANYWHERE in the world and you want to go to a part of the world that is Europe's equivilant to Iowa as far as how interesting it is, only with a pretty beach during the summer (dime a dozen).
one thing, though... explain to me how a local telling you not to bother visiting is "typical NS". i'd say he's doing you a favor.
