I'm Nick, even though i was born here in Oz i grew up in Czech Rep and a Poland as a child/teen. First started skiing in Australia but as i went to Europe at a young age learnt to ski over there in Austria.

When i came back home got into racing a bit but never took it seriously, had known about Newschool skiing since the early 2000's through Aussie ski mags but never actually started doing it until 2006 when i found NS and PBP, Level 1 etc,, ski movies and it changed how i saw skiing....

i still have a casual race every now and then but don't care much for it. would rather progress in the park.

My names Daniel i was born in the U.S but moved back to poland for a year and now i'm back here never got to ski in poland but want to really bad. i started freeskiing last year and progressed alot since then.

czesc, my name is Michal, i was born in Poznan and came to Canada when i was 9.  i snowboarded for about 5 years before buying my first pair of skis (twins) about 5 years ago.  only got into park like 3 years ago though, and had no clue about newschoolers till this year although i had bought Lines 2 years ago, weird.  well i'm glad i found this place becuase its full of jokes and cool peeps, and gives me a huge stoke to go sking, and there's tonnes of good info on here.  i've lived in the canadian rockies off and on but unfortanatelly i'm back in the city now, when i do move back you'll have a place to stay when you visit canada,

Sup, piotrs the name, i was born in frombork poland. came here when i was 3 years old. haha. ive been skiing for 5 years. got into freestyle beginning of last year and then i got injured so this is year is my first real year of freestyle skiing. i rock line invaders. just joined ns recently. i speak fluent polish and im going this winter to hit up some railparks in poland. jeaaaa. then im hittin windells next summer. some backyard sesh's this summer.

Hey, I'm Jake. I was born in Wisconsin. I've never been to Poland, and I can't speak Polish. But I am 50% polish, and my great grandparents immigrated from there. I got invited to this cult, but I'm pumped to join. I'm not a skier, but a snowboarder. But love for all.

I originally made this cult after the articles on here about the Katowice rail domination, where there was a bit of interest from ns'ers on Polish decent so I decided to make this so we could see who each other are

Maybe to make it more lively some of the ski2die.pl people could post news from the Polish freeskiing scene for those who don't speak Polish?

I'm Peter. Both of my parents grew up in Krakow skiing Kasprowy Wierch, and though I haven't ever lived in poland permanently, I've visited for months at a time and speak the language fluently. The stories from my mom and dad's time spent skiing growing up have been awesome, and I want to ski there at some point in my life...


A cool story: My mom's parents knew the guy who ran the cable car when my mom was growing up, and the way they did skiing was as such: Show up in the early morning, take the first tram up with the guys going up top before anybody else got to. At the end of the day, they'd ski all the way down and catch the last tram up, with the water and supplies for the next day. The tank below the tram car holds water for the tank topside, and there are several rooms for employees or close family/friends of employees to spend the night. They stayed there, and got the first tracks EVERY time there was a pow day.
