Duke or Jester on gotama 2004 /183?

Hello I bought new gotama's from 2004 never used  still in the plastic. I whant them to use as a powder ski and on the slopes to home. Now I must buy a 2009/2010 binding for the ski and I doubting between the Duke or the jester to put on these ski's . 

So witch of the two must I choose for my backcountry/powder ski's (price doesn't make a diffrence)

yes I know that one is a touring binding and the other isn't . But I have used the search button on this site en google and the opinions of the duke are so diffrent . One say's it's good another one says it's to much plastic and breaks easily .
So if it's not good and it breaks easely I just buy a jester and find another solution for hiking in the powder .
Only marker bindings on my volkl ski's :D

the grifons are the bindings that were very plasticy but they hold up great i have them. first how much do wou weigh, and how much will you be touring?

I bring 96 kilo on the scale and toruing not so much but why I am considering to buy the duke's if you need it and I buy the jester I am going to regred it .

 but yea the dukes will weigh you down more than the jesters. if you want a lighter touring binding id suggest the barrons. yea its hard for me to give advice on this stuff since i live on the east coast and have never really skied pow let alone go touring before.

where did you pick up some 04 goats? i would love some of those in a 183, if you cant figure out your binding delema and want to sell let me know haha

My shop had two of them in stock . And becasue nobody buy's them because the price and specs of this ski . I could buy them for a very very good price .  :D

And for the binding it's 70% jester 30% duke

Get the Duke if you want a heavy alpine binding with resort capabilities. Get the Jesters if you don't plan on touring.

Mmm going to go with the jester then if I need touring ski's then I buy myself a new pair wit duke's on it :D
also put the new walls with new jester's on the order page (they look so good :$)

Thought about the other touring bindings on the market?  I have dukes and barons and have been happy so far with them, the price was right so thats why I have both sets.  Would not rule out either the Naxo's or the Fritschi's.  just food for thought.
