It's very expensive yes but maybe its what your looking for if your really serious.
On another note, biking is great for leg strength. Hill climbing especially, and yea you can get a roadbike to do this, but if you have the skills get a XC mountain bike, try to find your bike stores riding club (they normally have one) and ride with them.
