Travelin tips?

Leaving for Alta on Monday, first time out west... anyone got any tips on what to carry on? or what bags to check...

people have been telling me to carry on my boots it seems tough to make the bag small enough when i attach or put them inside my carry on  any suggestions??

i have that big ass armada ski bag and i stuff everything (2 pairs of skis, boots, poles, helmet, outerwear, etc) into that.  Its worth the 180 bucks to only have to mess with 1 bag....

as long as you carry your boots, everything else can be replaceable.

Put everything but your skis in a bag, and carry your skis on. Just think of how bad ass you'll look.

Ski bag: skis and clothing.

Suitcase: boots, jackets, pants, layers, gloves, hats, helmet, socks, and some clothing. Also your toiletries.

Louis Vuitton carry-on: lots of cash, photo ID, first-class plane tickets, hotel reservation, cellphone, digital music device (or Sony Walkman), maybe a personal computing device, etc.

luckily i have a pair of skis for college and an old pair of invaders for home. when i fly for breaks i carry my boots on in my backpack topped off with my snowpants, stick my gloves and goggs in my boots. I always end up being "that guy" who is randomly searched though before boarding haha.
