Just got my wisdom teeth pulled.

I've been home for a couple hours now and it actually wasn't bad at all. I feel fine now and just want my mouth to stop bleeding. I have some vicidon(sp?) and just took one at 12 and can take two more in four hours. I have a little bit of bud too and I'm just wondering if smoking a couple bowls later today would be a bad idea?

when I got my whisdom teeth pulled I took the vicodin and had a weird reaction and I diddnt remember anything for a day and a half

I'm sketched out about the open wounds in my mouth like someone said. And like someone else said about crushing the vicidon up and smoking it with the bud I don't know. I heard that really fucks you up and I'm not really looking for that haha. Just trying to pass some time and maybe get the munchies and eat some pudding.

and btw about the smoking - just roll a joint and smoke it thru your nose...then you avoid the potential for dry socket...you might sneeze a little tho.

I only have a bowl and I honestly considered that too haha. I don't even know if I have enough bud to roll a joint anyways. I've heard dry socket is quite painful and I'd really like to avoid going through that.

I waited a 4-5 days before i smoked again and even trhen it seemed like they got kinda infected but def not dry socket.

same here i just got my wisdom teeth out except i got percocet. They said dont smoke cause youll get clots or something. I dont think its worth it.

I smoked everyday for the week or two after i got my wisdom teeth out without getting dry sockets. Your not suppose to smoke due to the sucking action, similar to sucking a straw, and that will give you dry sockets. Theres a very simple way to avoid this, its called a gravity bong, no sucking just push that smoke into your lungs. Also great cuz you get high as balls. As for drinking with the vics be very weary. Limit yourself to something like 3 beers. The moment you feel kinda fucked up STOP IMMEDIATELY! I made this mistake and kept on drinking because shit id only had a few beers and one pill. I have never been so sick in my life, i went green, spent hours on all fours puking (not pleasant at all especially right after getting wisdoms out), and was damn close to being brought to the hospital by my buddies. Thats about all the advice i can give ya.

WTF, you guys that hardcore narcotics? I had mine out yesterday and all I got for painkillers were 600mg advil, which I have already stopped taking and some anti-septic mouthwash. There is no way I would want to be taking opiates for this and I had all four taken out.

haha, dont overgauze, trust me, let the blood dry on its own if its been over twohours, i had the worst night after not eating anything and having half dry blood in my mouth, almost passed out next morning.
