flip tricks on a snowskate

hey i need some help here. i cant manage to really ollie or do any flip tricks with my snow skate. is it the same as skating? are there any different methods? anything about the slope, snow, foot placement, board type, anything would be a huge help. thanks

what kind of snowskate is it. if its a premeir those are hard as fuck to ollie and do flip tricks on. if its like the burtons those are way easier

i do it the same as on a regular board, except i put my back foot's heel a little more off and have to actively push the front foot up more
how are yo puttin your feet?

yea i got a premier, it makes my back foot feel retarded, im doin it how i would on a normal board except the tips are tweaked as hell. ill look into burtons, thanks. i was standing on a douible deck one and it seemed easier to ollie and stuff on. should i look into those too?

same as a skateboard but you have to pop alot hard to get the same hiehgt/spin. practice on your carpet in shoes and then take it to the snow. my fave trick is varial flip off a rail

good thinking thanks dude. hopefully i can put all the suggestions together and learn to snow skate. my favorite part is being able to grind like... a 50-50 to boardlside, just shit like that. thanks again

dude bi decks are more like snowboarding. go with a wood mini premier. its tight, and easy to do flip tricks on. it feels like a skateboard. I can land tre flips on my snowskate, but hardly ever on my skateboard. so yeah, go with a mini wood premier and you wont be disspointed

no way man bi decks are more like skateboarding not snowboarding. You also have alot more control with a burton.

i have a fortrus spider,its amazing and has plenty of foot room.i can flip it but its real hard and takes a while to land,i can almost bs flip off my box which is good considering i dont skate that much

here i am a year later and i havent done or learned anythign with snowskating. haha thanks to those who helped back in the day

if you can skate, you should have no prob riding a snowskate. Get a burton with the blade and its the shit.
