Apparently poor writing is a better substitute than 'relevance'.
Huh? What is that supposed to mean? Better substitute? Substitute for what? Is this an attempted slam on my writing? If so you may have a point. My writing skills may not be up to par these days. Fortunately for me my copy writing and design abilities allowed me to run an ad agency for eleven years than sell it to retire comfortably at 40. Having been on vacation for a decade now, may have caused my writing skills to have lapsed some. Hopefully my posts are clear enough to most that some can benefit from my input. As I benefit from the vast amount of knowledge shared by many here on this forum. On point in response to your statement yes IMO on an information forum relevant on topic responses would take precedence over prose. I have read many a post here that lacked the wit of Sherman Alexie, or the prose of Shakespeare. Even some with spelling and grammatical errors that were on topic insightful well thought out and informative based upon real life experience and knowledge. Those posts are far more beneficial to me than brilliantly written off topic, irrelevant nonsense that miss the boat. If poorly written my post tried to be on topic and contribute to the discussion. If you look there are three paragraphs."
