Physics Symposium

I need help. I have to do a physics symposium and a 10 minute PowerPoint on some modern article relating to medicine. I know everyone on NS does it but I was stuck and needed to tell my teacher a topic so I’m doing the benefits of medicinal marijuana. My question is do any of you know of a recent article (Oct. 2007 or more recent) of a SCIENTIFIC article that deals with the benefits of using medicinal marijuana. Major  + Karma if so.

Does the presentation even have to be about physics? Or just something scientific in general? Because Medical Marijuana would be a poor topic choice for a Physics presentation.

Oh gee. That hasn't been done to death at all. /sarcasm.

Why don't you do a symposium on the new satellite that went up. Supposedly took microwave photographs of primordial fluctuations in the Univere's density resulting in massive inflation? That's something a little more relevant and interesting.

Ya I know it's weird but it doesn't have to be physics related, just modern scientific research of some sort. And I know it has been done to death but I needed a topic I knew I could find and article on and I just thought of it. If I had had more time it would be different but I can't change it now.
