Not sure if this is a repost or not but i was just looking at the 09/10 Gotamas and they are reverse cambered now. Not a lot, they are flat underfoot and reverse camber in tip and tail. Has anyone skied these yet? It seems so wierd that Volkl would completely redesign a ski that has been so succesful over the years.
Apparently people like em, but the pairs I have seen are basically reverse camber throughout. NO flat spot underfoot really. It is really subtle but super long.
And they have absolutely no tip shape...
I dunno. After fondling the pair I saw, I was far from impressed....the lack of rocker height with no tip shape and stiff flex is going to lead to tip dive.
