Review of 09 anthems with marker griffons

holy mud-ducks kids. this is my first legit pair of twins and WOW. i don't know what to say. its such an incredibly lightweight setup first of all.

the griffon din goes to 12, right now its set on six. I had no pre-releases at all. I didn't hear any of this "squeaking" sounds ive been hearing about.

spinning is very fast and easy, all that riff raff about less swingweight on the markers is absolutely true. also the widing mountain pattern seemed to help alot! instead edge to edge transitions.

i got a really good deal on the setup and i'd reccomend that combo to anyone.

You finally got some big-boy skis :D

What size brakes did you get on the Griffons? 90, then bend 3mm?

This is probably gonna be my setup next season, I'm stoked

no they were the griffin wides. 110 brakes. fit without modification.

nah they seem to be OK. i mean the other ones would have been too small so... at any rate this is all the shop had and these bindings cost me $147.99 so I'm not complaining.

Do they hang over the sides of the skis when you are clipped in? I'm picking up JJs and I'm debating whether to try bending a 110 mm brake, or going with the 132 mm, which would be 17 mm bigger than the ski, like yours

I have 110mm brakes on my JJ's. (mounted +2.5 from recommended) They fit very tight, and touch my edges a bit on the way up/down, but I have no problems with them not releasing properly.

there's about 1/2" of space between the sidewal/edge and the brake. check the pic above

that's the exact setup im going for....but do you think i could make the 90mm brakes work for them? i mean the centre waste is 93mm so down just a little bit = 97-98mm....
