Im wanna buy some K2 hellbents. Wat do you think of them?

as far as i've heard, everyone loves them and they are highly suggested on this website. the searchbar will really help you. also so more info on what you will be skiing will help us decide if they are right for you

K, thanx a lot. i live near seattle. so northwest pow stuff is wat i want em 4. i dont want a versatile ski, but a powder ski that can ski switch and spin well (for a powder ski) also.

i think you will do well on them. i think they do will with backcounty jibbing. Search up, theres tons of stuff all over these forums on hellbents

I ski them almost everyday even when there isn't pow, no joke call me crazy but whatever. So they float if you haven't heard that already. They are super fun and buttery in the park, they carve the shit out of the groomed shit if you just sink your butt into the hill a bit, seriously you will be surprised to how awesome they do on the groomed. The bases are SOLID. Worst I ever got were just some fillable cracks but that was only when I absolutely stomped on a rock in the landing of a cliff. So to sum it all up, Super fun, super floaty, super awesome on the groomers, and the only places I have problems with them is when you get on really tracked up bumpy groomers at the end of the day when they had fresh on them in the morning. (the skis bounce a bit and get scary in that) and the top sheets are really soft and I have only had them for the season and lost all of the edges of my top sheets. That is because 1. It is K2 and there top sheets are just hella soft in the first place. 2. I ski them a shitload. And 3. They are fat skis they bang together a lot. But definetly get them they are KILLAAAAAA.

Just my opinion.

I don't know your size, style, or ultimate goal, but stand-by for ON3P. They are some of the most thought out, beautifully designed, innovative, bamboo core, fat twins since Dolly Parton's lovely ladie lumps. With tip and tail rocker from 15cm x 1.5cm to 35cm x 2.5cm they are impossible to sink the tips (I've tried even on the most Champagne of days) and still stiff enough to blast through the crud. And many are mounted forward of a traditional mounting point making them feel jibby, yet they are stable at speeds when it's time to point em'.

Just my opinion. I know where you could get a pair if you wanted, but I wouldn't recommend them to the tame.

I ride Caylors as well. Super sick, I'm sure it's going to Caylor's head as he constantly reads this stuff. What can I say, Iggyskier has one hell of a company on the rise.

Gotcha, these skis might own you. But keep an eye out for them because they're worth it. And because of the hellbents massive rocker and super-flexyness(however you'd say it) they are going to ski much shorter then they state. Plus K2 sizes up their rockered skis from the top of the reverse camber. You may want to demo a  set of the 179's. At least you could charge alittle bit too while getting back to the chair over the groomers.

Dude 169s for SURE, I am 5' 9" and everyone said 179 for size but when I demoed both I liked the 169 I know you will call me crazy but thats what I ride.

exactly how i feel. they are such awesome sticks. i ride them every day, unless its bulletproof, then i switch to something narrower with sharper edges. they are such quality skis though. and yea, they have some of the thickest, hardest bases ive ever seen. they are about 2-3mm thick, and can take a BEATING. ive ridden through all sorts of rocks, and have almost nothing to show for it. get them.

Definitely a sick ski.  They ride switch through the deepest of snow so easily.  You cannot go wrong with these skis.  Make sure you mount them core center.

So your answer to if you should get this ski: HELLLZ YEAH! get the 169 mount em with some griffons (marker) and shred the GNAR.

my friend has the 169 i have the 179. the 169 are going to float the same but you could grow out of them uber quick

Yeah I grew out of mine but I have hook ups for more skis next year thankfully.
