So they have rubber in the toe piece to reduce toe bang... i was wondering. Rubber gets really cold, rubber cracks which would allow water into the boot. or is it some other kind of material? anyone know

my guess is that the material will be protected from the weather...not sure what they are using, but with how much ski boots cost to make i bet they wont get cold/stiff/crack...

i saw tommy E on them last weekend, they looked cool, and the toe was very soft. similar in density to skate shoes
