wheres the first place you guys try new tricks, tables, natural hits w/ powder, water ramps, ect.? i personally like natural hits with softer landings, not too much pow because then i have trouble landing switch, like a table thats been snowed on a bit would be ideal for me.

Tables for spins, diving boards and medium sized tables for inverts.

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get that out of the way, then go live in an old folks home, then you should get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then on your first day at work you should get a gold watch. You work 40 years until you are young enough to enjoy your retirement, you go drinking and partying, then get ready for high school. You go to elementary school, become a kid, you play, you have no responsiblities, you become a little baby, you go back and spend your last 9 months floating around in a spa and then you finish up as an orgasm!

i got the feel for spins by jumping off things, like my deck, and other things, and id challenge myself to see how many rotations i could do in the height i had, i also use a tramp to practice like spins with grabs, and inverts, then i take it to the park, and do it. yay.

its also nice to have your own backyard kicker, cause then you can practice by yourself at a level you feel comfortable with, and learn lotsa new stuff...thats what i did this year.

I used to practice my spins by jumping off tall things untill i broke my ankle doing that and pretty much missed last season

i've found the high dive to work the best when it comes to learning inverts and staying on axis when spinning, its just like hitting a small cliff, the hight makes you cautious about overrotating and all that because you dont want to flop, so you learn to lay stuff out or quickly finish tricks off, you may not be at risk to breaking bones, but damnit it still f'ing hurts to bail

Tramps, then i use a table for inverts (none successful to date) and Hips for spins and grabs so i dont overshoot the landing!

For off axis fun stuff I go to a tramp or diving board first, then take it to a table, usually I try stuff when its not concrete hard. For spins and shit I just do them on tables right from the start, when you fall you fall.

Trampolines and diving boards are your most valuable tool. If you have good air sense it's pretty easy to land on your feet. I learn tricks there, then take them to tables or occasionally a powder kicker if i feel like hiking.

i do trampolines to get the feel of spinning and doing inverts and off axis corked stuff, i spen like a half hour a day spinning and flipping my brains out just jump and spin off of a whole bunch of crap like off the porch or down a small flight of stairs, it gets you to make sure you do it right and after a while its second nature. good luck!

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?
