when is it? the hv calendar says march 7th, but i heard it was changed. is there any truth to this rumor?

as an afterthought, anybody going?

yeah. basically, each shop sends a couple riders and they have a comp between the shop teams.

it isnt exactly shop wars this year. the people at peeknpeeak who organize it got layed off , so the whole shop wars series fell apart. hv is still keeping the competition, but changing the format. its now a create your own team thing. just get a small group of kids together, pick a crew name, and enter the comp.

whoever hasnt been to holiday valley this year, or doesnt go often... Make sure youre there these next two weeks. park is so epic, and with spring conditions it makes for some of the best skiing left on the east coast.

first jump is smaller, but still launches you pretty good. second is straight illin, huge takeoff and prbably 40'? deck. same step over at the end

who are you kidding, it was raining, poorly run, didnt stick to the format, and their were 3 teams. hah im willing to admit that, but it was stil a good time and the park is holding up well for this time of the year.

They closed Sunday.

Their after season rail jam for April 18th is still on.

cant say for sure, but last year was legit. they had a handful of rails, a sketchy hip-like thing and a decent table. its worth going, if only to ski in the middle of april.

i just heard that its 10-3 and its free. bring money anyway, but i was told its gonna be free. check the webcams on the hv website to see how it looks. i havent looked yet, so i coulnt tell ya.
