one of my like great uncles or something was Piet Von Braun, related to the famous Werner Von Braun, the man who was like, in charge of creating the Nuke or something in WW2, but my uncle moved to america after the war to avoid being hated by people in germany cuz like, his reletive helped fuck shit up in the world. so he came over, dropped the Von, and added and ER to the last name.

so our families name is now Brauner

Teddy Roosevelt was sworn into office in my great great great uncles house because they were friends (Uncle lived in Buffalo NY) and when McKinley got shot they needed to swear in teddy and he was hunting in up state NY and so they found him and he said to go to Unc's house. Its a museum now.
