This is a serious question though. Microsoft has way more money than Dubai, why can't they build some Ski Seattles, Ski NY's, and Ski whereever's??? Screw Ski Dubai. NO, screw the middle east!!! Rich tards. I hate them.
This is a really good question. It's a bummer we don't have these in every U.S. City for everyone who doesn't have snow or doesn't have the resources to travel to the mountains! Unfortunately they cost a ton of $$, insurance is off the charts expensive, and believe it or not, a lot of people don't want these to be built in their backyard (NIMBY). Add in all of the development permits, environmental reviews, etc and it can take 10 or more years to get a project of this magnitude off the ground. The Las Vegas Wet project looks pretty cool though - as do the Long Island, the aforementioned Meadowlands Xanadu project, and Atlanta projects.
