Breck the first weekend in April?

I was thinking about making a late season trip to Breckenridge April 3rd to 5th. I have never been to CO and am not really sure what the conditions will be like. Can someone give me some insight? Is the whole mountain usually open that late? Is there some good spring corn? In general do you think it's worth the trip that late in the season. Thanks for any input.
