Kids like this make me wince whenever people ask me what music I listen to, and I just generally say punk. I've been listening to it since I was 10... I'm 20 now, so 10 years. But kids with his ideology are just an embarrassment... oy.

Whoa, that guy is a dumbfuck. It pisses me off when you've got guys that like to say that anyone who sells a record sells out. Gluing dog shit to your wall? that's not punk, that's borderline psychosis. Note how he never mentioned The Ramones, New York Dolls, The Clash, pioneers of punk. (He mentioned Sex Pistols, but they're pretty wide known) He gives people who like punk a shitty name. I have friends who are hicks, and living in Malibu gives you no right to bitch.

AFI moved to the Dreamworks label. They're music hasn't changed at all however. Read interviews with them and they stand by that they make music without any external consideration besides themselves. They talk about trying to never make the same CD twice. But yea, AFI and Rancid have both been getting more radio play over the last year and a half.

^Finally someone who knows the truth behind GC. Yea I saw them on Warped before people knew who they were, and I thought they're show was good. I then bought their first CD and thought it was kind of rawfully inspiring sort of and not so generic. And yes, they did sing about making it big 'In the videos, on the TV screens,' or some shit like that. But yea they're second CD came out and I heard it, and after seeing them all over the place, they definitely had nothing new to offer and I became turned off.
