today is probably the last pow day of the season for the east coast/southern new england, and i cant get to my mountain,  keep in mind its a 15 minute ride and i can find a ride there but none back

plus my parents want me to go to the dentist later instead.... which is a half hour drive

so, NS, what would you do?

Get a ride there, and ski without thinking about how you're getting back. Then, when the time comes, call your parents and tell them you're stuck at the mountain. They wont leave you there. Sure, its manipulative as hell and they'd be pissed, but is it worth it for a pow day?

Get your ride there now. Worry about the ride home later. The dentist will still be there when its not a pow day.

walk it out, i walked 40 minutes with skis in hand, a full backpack, and boots/helmet on my back. i had no regrets, it was by far the funnest day i had at the mountain this season too.

if you dont go, you'll regret it. so go.
