Salomon Suspects BROKEN!!!!! warranty????

i broke them two weeks ago and sent them back im really hoping that they are replaced!

did this happen to anyone else?

and does anyone know about their warranty policy?

Totally depends on how they broke

If they just exploded out of the blue then yeah, they will replace them

yes so many people have broken their suspects this year
and as far as the warrenty goes i'm not sure if they'll replace them. I think that hitting rails(which i would figure you do) voids the warrenty.

that would suck cause i broke them going to big off a jump and they just exploded! no edge crack or blowout or anything, just the sidewalls and core shattered!

Hey I broke my salomon threats this year.  The edge blew out at the tip.  I sent them in and they gave me a new pair within two weeks.  I do jumps and rails, but as long as your ski is in normal wear condition besides your borken part, rails won't void your warranty.  They probably will send you a new pair.  They say that stuff voids the warranty to scare people off.

ya cause they like exploded and i skied the rest of the day on them cause it happened second run and they were like hellbents by the end of the day!

i heard a ton of 09 salomons did that and that they were not refunding any of them.  good luck man

ya people said that, but the shop i returned them from said that it happened to someones else local as well and that their's were replaced so im hoping for that

yeah edge armor is bullshit. I pulled the edge right out on my suspect and crakced it in four other places....

really i didnt have a problem with the edges at all they just bent, but the entire ski except for the base and edges shattered

One of my friends has the suspects and the edge blew in like the 5th time of riding on them and salomon wouldnt give him a new pair no matter how hard he pushed. Salomon get on your knees because suspects blow

Seeing as though they are a freestyle ski with there versitility of being an all mountain ski, they are ment for taking a beating anywhere on the mountain. And a quality company like Salomon should send you a new pair of skis or even give you a choice of getting a different pair of skis from their line up. Thats my opinion on this situation.. Honesly,
Favorite ski i've ever ridden.
I mean if salomon really does warrently there ski if you take them into the shop then i might get myself a pair.

rails do void guaranti, so even if they didnt break on a rail, if you have ever hit a rail, then your edges arnt guaranteed. the trick is to write a letter to salomon and say how you love salomon but now feel betrayed and have lost trust in the company. they will not want to lose a customer

In most cases, if the majority of your base damage runs from tip to tail as you would find in freeriding, the company will almost always replace your sticks. (3 to 4 weeks).   If there is apparent rail and ledge damage running across the bases, they will tell you to pound sand.

i really hope salomon steps up i personally love the way salomons ski and i havent ridden the suspects nor would i buy thtem from all the problems they have but im sure they ride amaze and are a great ski. hope they fix this shit for next year

I've heard so many stories about the suspect it's crazy! I guess I should feel lucky that mine hold up really good and I love to ski them, sick sticks for sure.

Yeah, Ive heard alot of horror stories about suspects too.

I wonder how many pairs the Saloman Team went though this year or if their skis were build with better materials.   Sammy Carlson rides those, I wonder how many he broke and if that's the reason he went to the backcountry with Tanner Hall this year.
