I absolutely love the skis. They are poppy and light, pretty flexible. I can tip stand just by leaning forward. Won't wash out on landings and I love them on rails and boxes.
but...
The durability isn't so great. Now I will say I can't speak for the 08/09 skis but I have had some problems with the 07/08's. Last year on my MacP's I ripped a heelpiece out. emailed Campbell (super nice guy btw) and he says he'll ship me some new skis. A few days later I got a new pair of 07/08 MIP's. Seemed like almost the same ski to me, just a bit wider. I ripped a toepiece out of those last Wednesday. The topsheets chip like a mother. I have one that's about an inch square on the MIP's and various others that are around half that size. My best friend ripped a heelpiece out of his 07/08 Butters last year. Helo coiled (sp?) the heelpiece and this year broke them over rotating a backflip. Right behind the heelpiece the ski just snapped. The topsheet is the only thing holding the ski together.
Keep in mind I'm only 5'6 and weigh 140 and my friend is the same height and weighs maybe 30 punds less. Not exactly huge kids.
I will say I love the skis, they are just not durable IN MY EXPERIENCE.
Again, I can't speak for the 08/09's or any other years besides the 07/08. This is just my experience and the experience of a good friend.
