Moving to CALI need help

I am moving to San Diego and I ski alot on the East Coast, and I wanted to know what was the closest and best mountain. How far of a drive. Thanks

Closest big mountain to SD is proabaly Mammoth. Go to www.skiresortguide.com and follow the directions. It's proabaly the most informative resort site on the web.

Mammoth is around 6 hours from SD but its an easy ass drive. mt high and big bear have ok parks and are within 2 hours of sd

bottom line: SoCal is not a great place to be if you plan to ski a lot.

Yeah i drive like 3 and a half hours every weekend now to ski in VT

Kirkwood is HELLA far from SD. Prolly like 8 hours or something
