Replying to Bindings and ski flex

I was wondering whetherthe size of your bindings effects the skis flexible properties?

Presumably the section of the ski which has part of the binding on it cannot flex even though it would otherwise.

Some bindings are bigger than others and so does this make a difference to the skis performance?
