looking for REAL 4frnt MSP review

I know this was already posted in another form, so dont kill me, i didnt get any really good responses:
My friend can get me a pair of MSPs for like 200 size 180. I already have tms for park and am looking for a ski just for cruising groomers and powder. I live in jersey but i am going to colorado for a good part of this winter and am going to argentina this summer. Would it be worth it to buy theres skis? or get something else? I am not worried about park preformance!
I know that its a good deal but id rather spend 500 dollars on the right skis than 200 dollars on skis that dont work for me and suck

for 200 bucks id say go for it
u got the TMs for the park and want an all around mt ski
$200 is a good deal for any back-up ski and a fantastic deal for the MSPs
have u ever ridden them?
id suggest a demo to be sure - the most accurate review that youre gonna get is always your own

Get them! they are awesome.
They are pretty stiff. they are light. they don't have much sidecut, so you will need to be able to ski fairly well (which i asume you can do). They ski very well. They are definitely wide enough for pow. they float over anything. ive taken them everywhere and they are great at everything except moguls.

all i can say is scratch FS. Find some from last year or something, i've seen this years for like $279. Best ski i have EVER skied, it actually made me appreciate rossignol.

^ you have to listen. he already has a park ski. the tm. which is quite a bit better then the scratch fs. I have time on both. I think the 4 front is the type of ski hes looking for, bc and all mountain. and for $200 you cant go wrong

are you bragging or something? if you can get 4frnt's for 200, just fucking buy them. you obviously have decent skis already with TMs. even if you go to colorado for a while, and argentina, you don't really need different skis, unless you're going to be riding a LOT of powder.
i think you're just bragging about getting 4frnt's for 200 bucks because you 'know someone'.

No offense, but you sayign that you don't buy skis that you don't need, and I really don't think that you need these. You buying a pair of skis that really aren't that helpful in New Jersey so you can use them when you ski in Colorado and Argentina. But unless you're skiing really deep powder, you won't have any problems with your TM's. I jut think that its a pretty big waste to buy a pair of skis for two ski vacations when your curent skis will work just fine.

Why does everyone care so much about how much money this dud ehas. If he wants the skis...and has the cash, he can do whatever he wants. He asked for a review, not your opinion on his financial status.

alright every one of you people that think your smart shit n all. im riding the 180 MSP's right now and they SUCK. the things came fucked up from the fatory and when i brought them in for warranty inspection the first time they told me the shit wasn't serious enough for warranty replacement or anything along those lines. its now a month or so later and on my left ski the edge is sepperating from the base - a disgusting amoutn thats surprising bevause the shops say they're an awesome, pefectly built ski....and the edge is cracked in 4 places.
now your all sitting there liek what wrong with this kid, hes probly hit too many rails n blown them out....WRONG!! i've had them for a little over two months and all i've ridden is powder, pipe, and tables....no rails.
if anyone is lookign at getting 4frnt's i suggest think again. they ride liek shit, the top sheet peels like no other, and the whole no sidecut thing doesn't help on icy days....even if your an a+ skier.
DON'T BUY 4FRNT MSP'S IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU.

jibphreak, do you ever wax your skis? Do you take good care of them? You can't just leave them outside in the cold and throw them around. I have had NO probs with mine, so it sounds like you got a manufacture problem. I dont know, but I have hit many rails on mine and not even a burr has formed. I have not seen a ski that is more bombproof than the MSP.

ok, so all of you were right in calling me a 'lemon'. conceptkid is definately right. they finally replaced my skis on manufacturers defects. o, and for the record, i do wax my skis and keep them in a heated garage when im not skiing so it wasn't from that, i take care of my stuff. now that i've started riding the new ones they're treating me unbelievably well and i love them....it was last seasont hat i got them and now its almost time for the 04/05 season to start and i've ordered a pair of STL's, and MSP's cuz i like 4frnt so much.
BUY 4FRNT THEY RULE!!

can anybody tell me what the deal is with the '05 line reactor bindings? i hear that if your not riding line skis you have to buy this freedom plate thing that raises your skis like another 1/2' up...someone let me know if they'd be good or not for non-line skis.
