FT hotdoggers vs. booters

so i looked around, and can find very few differences between the FT booter and the hotdogger. The FT website has a few differences listed, but most of them are not very descriptive. i was wondering what the differences are, and if its worth it go pay the extra $$ to get the hotdoggers.

The hotdogger's just a higher quality boot and has a stiffer tougue (although tongues are interchangeable). It has a higher-end liner, an active boot board, aluminum cable anchors (as compared to plastic ones on the Booter), and has a nicer power strap. Aside from that the boots are relatively similar, but imo, the graphics and quality make the hotdogger the $$ boot.

 even tho wallisch use the booter,  the hot doggers got better footbed, liner and metal buckles.

id say that the liner is the most important part of the ft and like other people have said the hot dogger has a better liner and higher quality materials in other important areas. depending on how hard you think u are going to charge id prob go with the hot doggers

not the actual footbed they have like a shock absorber thing at the bottom of the boot under the liner, thats what they are talking about

the doggers are nice..but the 2010 booters look alot better than the 2010 doggers, but i think the dogger is still a better overall boot

id go for the dogger the linear is way better and the foot board in the dogger is way softer for big landings.... everyone that i ve seen with them has always said they havent had any problems with them and they are comfortable as hell

bump

so i heard that next years hotdoggers are gonna be alot more $$ then this years. has anyone else heard this? and if so, should i get this years now while their on sale or just wait and possible pay the extra $$?

get this years, and take time to get the liners heat molded right, its worth it.

Sorry to thread jack, but does anyone else have a problem with the liner digging into the side of their leg? Its just the way the liner wraps around my leg that when I buckle the boot up it gives me a weird pressure point right on the front outside edge of my calf, if that makes any sense. Anyone else have this problem / any cures for it?

The booter price is the same but everything else is going up.....and the booters are amazing i ride in them and love them!!!

dude hot doggers are only like 17 bucks more than the booter at evogear and they have a lot of sizes. its such a good deal. go for it for the reasons mentioned above unless u rly want next years model.
