Saturday, March 7 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
Well guys, it is that time of year again. The hardpack is starting to get a little softer, and it's time to celebrate (or mourn) the longer days and warmer temps.
We will be introducing a new format to the terrain park contest this year. Modeled after HORSE the contest will be the Terrain P.A.R.K. Showdown. Tricks will be decided for each obstacle, and those who land the trick clean will move on, those who don't will get a letter. Once you get PARK you're done, and we will go until only one skier and one snowboarder are left standing in each class. Both ski and snowboard will have both expert and beginner divisions.
The second contest will be a Method Air/Daffy Spread Contest. Again we will have beginner and advanced divisions for both ski and snowboards.
P.A.R.K. Contest begins at 12 o clock NOON. Registration will end at 11:30 sharp.
Under 18 requires a parental release(available the day of at the Spring Fling Booth)
HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. Don't have one? Yes, you can share, but you need to be wearing a helmet to be riding the park during the contest.
Cost is free for beginner class, $5 for advanced. 100% of entry fees will be paid out as prizes.
Method Air/Daffy Spread Spectacular begins at 3:30 pm. Registration ends at 3pm sharp.
Jam format, 30 minutes of old school free for all. Winners in both ski and snowboard classes.
Under 18 again requires parental consent
Helmets are required, and yes you can share but you must have one to hit the jump.
