i grew up skiing, but transitioned over to snowboarding about 12 years ago. I've wanted to get back into skiing for awhile and picked up some crap k2s at the beginning of the season thinking they would serve me well for relearning. skiing came back very quick and my skis were outdated and much to small for me. my girl just picked up some new skis from evogear, and i couldn't let her do that to me so i picked some up for myself. 08 rossi ghetto scratch fs paired with 09 rossi sas2 100. i know they're not that best in the world, but they got great reviews and should hold me over for the rest of this year and the 09/10 season. best part was the whole package ran me $245 shipped. i plan on doing a lot of all mountain riding and some park (40% or so, increasing as i progress). i would've liked a ski with a little larger waist, but plan on snowboarding when the powder falls so the 84 waist should still fair well on the hardpack. let me know what you think.
