^ I agree completely, however to some people it's more than just sex, and if you care for the person, then you need realise that by cheating you're hurting someone you care about. It's like ditching your girlfriend on her birthday when you know all she wanted to do is spend time with you. You're just doing something to hurt her feelings. Although I do believe that society has too much emotional emphasis on sex, you have to consider other peoples views and feelings before act upon your own selfish desires.

Well in my experience if you can do it without any chance of getting busted then do it. But your situation with your friend as well, PhattTim rightly said that it will really fuck that one up so its prob not worth it.
It all depends on how you feel about sex and the emotions you associate with it. So other peoples opinions mean very little. If you can live with the guilt then do it, and if you cant, dont cos you will prob get real drunk one night confess all and then you defintily will have facked it all up. (NUMBER ONE RULE.....
