My Own Water Ramp

Hey I would just like to brag about my water ramp.
Seeing all you asses in the northern hemisphere are having a great ski season at the moment, I would just like to tell you that I have built a massive water ramp into a pond to serve my addiction...
It is more that 2.5m long and has got a huge kick.... I havent tried it yet but I will tommorow... oooo I am soo excited...

And I would just like to ask if anyone has any suggestions for a good slippery surface that I could use in warm conditions and that isn't expensive. cheers...

Skiing is my life and their is no other way to put it.. Its as simple as that..

wet, soapy carpet works well..but might be a little slow for a water ramp. worth a try

I want to build one for the summer, water skiing is ok, but I can only do it for an hour a day, and I get less air. But I have to find a way to build one and find skis that won't sink (I could use water skis but I'd break my ankle).

How much did yours cost by the way? And what's it made out of? I'd need at least a 3-4 metre one cause of where I'd put it, but what does 2.5 cost.

Basically it cost me nothin, I used all this wood that a friend of mine had.. We built it with wood and nails and some screws to hold the pressure. It took us about 6 hours to build.
We have ended up using plastic sheets (thicker than plastic bags, but essentially the same thing) on wood....
We are having a few problems with the run up (its not steep enough) but We will probably end up getting towed by a quad bike...
