Pick Matt Luczkow as Superunknown. He has hands down the most interesting and in my opinion by far the best edit. The amount of effort put in to that edit, all the hikes, building of BC booters etc must have been incredible. And the result was a 6+ minute edit, which when cut down, is worthy of a section in any of todays pro movies.
And in honesty, not one of the other edits will be able to match up to the skiers that will already be involved in the park shoot. Last year Jon Brogan only had one shot in the main movie, and I don't think any of this years edits are as good as his of last year. None of them are close to where Wallisch was even two years ago. I admit I am not the biggest admirer of park skiing, but it is clear to me that Wallisch as Superunknown revealed someone who will change the sport. None of this years edits come close to being 'revolutionary' in terms of park skiing. And in honesty, none of them seem like they will produce footage that stacks up against that of Wallisch, Delorme, Ahmet etc.
Which brings me to Mr. Luzcow, who it seems could keep up with and even push the BC riders in your lineup. The guy managed to produce a movie worthy section, with I assume little or no budget. I don't know the guy, but it seems to me that given a seasons worth of Cat and Sled skiing he could produce an unbelievable section. He won't win, but I really think he should!
Thanks.
