Mount mansfield=deep

me and my buddy drove up to stowe tuesday night slept in his car and skied wednesday than drove back down to school here in westchest ny, we hiked to the top of mansfield and there were spots that were neck deep,  best pow day of my life especailly living on the east coast ,except coming out of the woods  miles down the pass and having to hike again just to get back

you can get some really nice lines but its a bitch of a hike to get too. if you are going to do it go up earlyyyyyy and loop the teardrop trail a few times to get your hikes worth.

that storm dropped so much pow. i was there since sunday it was great. i'd never hiked up top before so i didn't want to do it during a storm and by the third day it was clear but i was too dead from skiing such deep poww.

yea the hike was a bitch and a half we thought wed be hiking for 10 m ins and ski a short little line of pow didnt realize we had to walk for like an hour and end up dripping sweat but it was well worth is wheres teardrop by the way we took the hourglass rout and herd people talking about the chin, saw the tusk, and but crack but didnt hear anything about the teardrop

been every day since sunday, sunday, monday and tuesday were progressively better with tuesday being the most epic of the year, hiked to the hourglass yesterday a couple times and got a nice 20 footer up there somewhere haha.  Decided to go to class today then had to go back and hike that shit one more time before the rain, everybody do the dance for snowwww and cold

man, sounds like smuggs got shit for snow now, like 1 1/2 - 2 ft but the wind blew it around soo much that youd be in 6in then next thing you know your stuck in a drift up to your waist, but hell atleast it was pow.
