And i was wondering what the best 2 ski quiver is.

I was thinking bibby pros or Hellbents for powder

and either anthems or rossi lusts for park

yes but 178's will be more stable, and a bigger ski just feels better in my opinion.

I have 175's and im 6'1" they feel real short which makes me just wanna ride my bacons which also feel short.

think of the extreme case of snow blades - you can spin a 1260 on a 15 foot table.  But try landing them a little off balance or on a really big jump - much less stable and more likely to fall.  I'm 5'10 and got the 171 line octolands.  Oddly enough they measure out to be the same length as my dads 177 volkl bridges.  They come up to eye level on me, so maybe some measurement is off.  Anyway, if you want more of a rail ski for tucked spins on/off, go shorter.  For a more stable, big hit ski, go with the 178's.  And either way, measure out 7 cm's and you will see its not much difference. Hope that helped.

oh yeah line sucks dick at measuring. and all my friends have line skis for some reason.

when we line up my bacons(182) friends chronics(176) friends anthems(171) the range of height difference might be an inch, maybe less. The anthems and the chronics are the same and my bacons(measure out to 178 when i whip out the tape) are not that much taller then them. I think 178 anthems are the same size as my bacons cuz my other friend that never skis has them and i remember them being very similar in size.

thats interesting hmm god i dont even know why im worrying so much about the size considering it will hardly make a difference i just dont want too short of a ski that cant land as well as a long ski and i dont want too long of a ski i cant mauever as easily

171 and 178 is like a 5 inch difference. Only 2.5 inches extra in the tip and tail. I ski 169s and I'm 5'10" and I would much rather go for a way longer ski

4cm is roughly 1 inch so 7cm is not 5 inches.

and like i said earlier line skis are measured weird

2.54cm are in 1 inch. So 7cm are like 3 inches, my math was of, but it proves my point even more that there isn't much difference between 171 and 178

how do people on here like the volkl chopstick as a competitor as my powder ski against the hellbent.

i think it sounds pretty sweet but anybody that knows anything about it got some background info?

the one thing i dont like are the lengths that are offered.
175 seems too short for a pow ski but 185 seems too long

yo thats too small dude i thought the same and i grew 3 inches and got skis 17 cm bigger could do all the same tricks with same control. i would go more like 176-7 park and like 181-5 for pow

or just ski the east and hit up 1 pair of skis

So I got a job today.. Getting JJ's so only need a new park ski.. I like an all mountain ski as a park ski.. any ideas?

maybe try the 4frnt msp. its like an 84ish waist so its big enough to ski the rest of the mountain.
