You'd think by now, 2009, that there'd be no such thing as war. It's barbaric and has existed forever and you'd think with all the progress the world has made it would be a non-issue.
I don't think there's anyone here that doesn't respect the troops, I do, but if you support our reasons for being over there, you are either un-educated on the subject or an idiot.
Stop being such a cockass dude go be an idiot somewhere else if you dont like it keep it to yourself.
Good post that was...... i dont even know how to say it... it was a bit scary
"he has also chosen to fight for YOUR rights " (wouldn't let me quote for some reason)
Can someone intelligently explain to me how occupying a foreign country that has not actually threatened or attacked the American people, qualifies as fighting for the rights of the american people? Because to me, thats doesnt qualify at all. Don't get me wrong, I am aware of the fact that america HAS fought for the freedom of its people, but that does not mean that every time they engage a country in "war" they are fighting for the freedom of the people, even when they say that's what their doing. also, the soldiers do chose to enter that situation. how ever you want to spin it, they chose to go over there, therefore i dont pitty their situation. however, i do respect them for knowing the situation and doing something they belive in.
